2s and 5s?

Normal not to be able to tell the difference between 2s and 5s at 3.5 years old?

He can read most of his other numbers, but these continually stump him.

When we play trouble or do the teach me to tell time game on his alarm clock he can never tell the difference.

Completely normal. Both of my girls had trouble telling the difference at that age.

Re: 2s and 5s?

At 4.5, DD knows all the numbers and letter's on anything she sees...except the digital clock for the tv box. Every single time, she asks me is that a 2 or a 5. Chat Icon Chat Icon

Jeremy also used to mess up 6s and 9s. I asked the therapist at school and she said it is "normal" until Kindergarten Chat Icon Chat Icon

Totally! My daughter also confuses M and W and I and J. She is 3.8. Makes perfect sense if you look at at from a child's point of view!Chat Icon
