B&N - QUESTION
SO I JUST GOT THE NOOK COLOR AND SOMEONE MENTIONED YOU CAN ONLY GET BOOKS FORM BARNES AND NOBLE - IN THAT SAME CONVERSATION THEY SAID THEY ARE PROBABLY GOING OUT OF BUSINESS - NOW IM WORRIED IF I SHOULD KEEP THIS UNIT OR NOT???

I have a regular nook but I can get books from many other sources - I have them from Sony, Kobo, Borders, Smashwords. I'm pretty sure you can read all those on the NC as well.
You should ask on a Nook discussion board like Nookboards to be sure.

i seriously doubt B&N is going out of business...
its Borders that filed for Bankruptcy... but as Cathy said there are many sources to get books... the Library and other online places...

There is another website you can buy eBooks from...Kobo
But I don't think Barnes and Noble is going out of business...Border's filed for Bankrupcy. If anything, I would think B&N will see a revival in business with the Nook and all their web sales.
