Confused about OPK's

I have read in most places that it is best not to use FMU when using the OPK. HOwever, I just bought the Clearblue Easy Ovulation Tests and they say this:

"You may test at any time of the day, but you should test at around the same time each day. It is importatn that you should not have urinated for at least 4 hours before taking the test (Avoid excessive fluid intake before testing as this may dilute the hormone and make the result difficult to read). Many women find it easiest to test first thing in the morning."

Now I'm super-confused!!! What would you all do?

I also use Clearblue easy OPKs, and this really confused me too. I read somewhere that your surge will start somewhere in the mid-late morning, which is why it is better to test in the afternoon-early evening. I've decided to use the advice that some ladies on here gave me and test between Noon and 8pm.
