I thought LaFamiglia is family style? It is just the two of us for dinner...although I am 17 weeks preg and she is 32 weeks, so that may be right down our alley

Glad you enjoyed it but that is definitely one downside of La Piazza if you go when it's busy (which is a LOT)...sorry!!

I wasn't a fan of LaPiazza but I highly recommend Pastaeria in Hicksville which is bordering Plainview at South Oyster Bay and Woodbury Rd in the Staples shopping center.
I believe they are also a sister restaurant to Fanatico on Rt 107 in Hicksville.

I have actually stopped going to La Piazza due to nasty staff, the fact that so many other restaurants are much more accomadating, and the fact that after they are nasty they rush you like crazy! I agree with the Pasteria reccomendation.

Thank you soooo much for the Pasteria recommendation! Definitely trying that place next time!! My friend lives in Wantagh south of Merrick Rd and I live in Dix Hills so we wanted to try to meet in the middle so neither had to drive all the way in one direction!
