MOMs of girls...

I have a hairbow making problem and a friend/neighbor I grew up with is about to give birth to twin girls. I plan to make her a crazy amount of bows as a new babies gift (she has a large family and had a very generous shower).

If you have multiple girls, do you put them in matching hair bows/clips most days or do the girls not match often? I'm trying to decide if I should give her everything in pairs or just a large variety of bows, flowers, felt, etc.

Thanks!

I would suggest some pairs in the basics -- pinks, whites, lavendars, some pairs for fun and then some mix and match too. Sometimes its nice to have them coordinated but different.

I have boy/girl twins but an older daughter too. But that is what I would want because I even try and coordinate/match my two girls sometimes.

By the way, I think it's a great gift idea!

that's a good idea!

yeah, i went practical for her shower (124 diapers in a diaper cake) but i don't know if she'll splurge on boutique bows and blooms. she may just need to focus on the basics first.

I have two identical boys but just had a thought. Maybe you can do the same colors just different shades. So light purple and dark purple or light pink and hot pink. Thats usually how we dress the boys, same outfit but different color or shade.

i would do a few pairs of the same and a few totally different. this way if she wants to match them she can and if she doesn't she has some options!!! that's a really nice gift!!!Chat Icon
