NOOK COLOR AND THE BEACH
So I was away on vacation and I hate to admit it but I could not read my nook on the beach. The glare was horrible and I could not see the words
I guess no beach reading for me this year!

I was afraid of that. I am going away next month and I was hoping to read my Nook on the beach/pool. I wonder if there are any accessories to help with the glare (I already have the 'anti-glare' screen protector, which I think does NOTHING to prevent glare.)

I didn't even know there was the 'anti-glare' screen protector. Let me know if it works on the beach! I love my Nook but I was so upset that I cldn't read it!

That is why I got the regular Nook since I specifically wanted to be able to read outdoors. I was ready to jump and get the Nook Color b/c it was the latest and greatest.

I dont understand... i read outside all the time... i do have the glare protection thing on the screen tho

I have the nook color and brought it with me on my caribbean vacation. I read it every day at the beach and at the pool with no problem. I just had to change the brightness setting to the highest.

I just ordered the anti glare screen so maybe with that and like you said if I adjust the setting to the brightest I will be able to. THX I will try that
