Need Suggestions
I've been walking every day for 3 -4 miles a day since having my daughter in February. I've lost all the baby weight but I'm still feeling flabby. I have a gym at work and I'm thinking of introducing weight training into my routine. What can you suggest. My arms feel so disguisting lately and I'm definitely feeling flabby.
Is lunch time enough time to do weight training? Are there any good videos to get?
I know everyone says to introduce weight training but I don't have a clue where to start. I've always just been a cardio girl. TIA

I always did so much more cardio then weight training.
I started weight training about a month and a half ago. With the help of Snowboardgirl (Christine) I incorporated weight training 3 times a week.
How long is your lunch? I think you could do each routine in less than an hour.
I have to say I feel so much more stronger since I started this routine.
Thanks Christine!!!!

Re: Need Suggestions
I get an hour but like I said the gym is in my building so it's a matter of walking downstairs.
The thing is since having two children now, I really don't have the time for myself OTHER than doing it at lunch time or after the girls are in bed. At that point, I'm so tired from getting up so early, I'm usually right behind them in bed.

Re: Need Suggestions
Check out the workout log thread and take a look at what we're doing. Also, read the 2 threads that I posted. One is about heavy weight training, the other is about exercise myths. That should give you some idea of where to start. You can definitely get in a good weight training workout in less than an hour. The next day you can do your cardio.
