Organic Produce- where to buy
where do you buy your organic produce and how much do you usually spend on it (what are good deals)????
dh and i have decided that we want to start eating organic produce.
also, i read that somethings are worth buying organic, while some are not. what do you get? what will you not get?

Re: Organic Produce- where to buy
Whole Foods ! We buy all our food there. We are a family of 2 and we spend between 400-500 per month on food.
What products should you make sure are organic?
1, Meat ( if you are a meat-eater) because you want to avoid the anti-biotics, pesticides and grown hormone found in the meat. 2. Eggs and dairy products for the same reasons as above 3. Coffee 4. Peaches, cherries, nectarines, berries and apples as they are all heavily sprayed with pesticides. 5. Spinach, kale, peppers, carrots celery and greens : heavily sprayed also
What's not worth buying organic?
Asparagus, Brussels sprouts, bananas, avocados, kiwis, mangoes, pineapples etc
There are others but that is what comes to mind immediately. Good luck and congrats on going organic! It will benefit your health and the environment.
