Joing WW and DH trying to talk me out of it.
So I made the decision that it is time. I really hate how I look and I need motivation. I am joing ww on Saturday morning. I work and Saturdays are the best time for me. I am psyched about it. MY husband is trying to tell me just eat right and exercise why bother doing a "diet" ? I hate that he is not encouraging me.  . It is hard to be positive when your other half does not give you support.
I hope to prove him wrong and lose at least 2 pounds a week.
I have to do this I hate how I look.

why doesnt he want u to join w.w.? tell him it works. dh has lost 152 lbs on it. tell him that u need to do this

He is probably just grumpy that he has to watch the kids while you are out. Remind him that "Weight Watchers" isn't really a diet, its a way to learn how to eat healthy. Then find a weight lose partner to give you support and ignore your husband until the day he says "wow" when you have met your goal!

I know my DH doesnt like WW because of the cost (I'm a lifetimer so its free for me...he refuses to join because he wont pay the $40/month).
Which Sat. meetings are you going to? I go to Wantagh at 7AM!

Tell him that you are going to be learn a way of life, not a diet. The meeting and motivation from other members will be good for you! Just do it!! Also, if you get the monthly pass it is a lot cheaper. You may want to consider that.

Men are stupid sometimes!
They think it is so easy to lose weight. My DH says the same thing to me. "just eat right and exercise"
And then he says he will go on a diet with me and gloats when he loses 5-6lbs in a week and I barely lose a lb!

It stinks to feel like your husband isn't supporting you. I've been there before in a different capacity, so I can surely empathize.
WW helped me lose weight twice in my life. It's really not a diet, just a different way of counting calories which we should all do anyway.

How funny - I am usually at Wantagh around that time (I can't stay for the meetings because DH is home with the kids and losing his mind)
I'm not going tomorrow because I'm sure I didn't lose anything - but will hopefully be there next week!
