This nursing and weight loss thing is for the birds!
Seriously, I've never done WW before while nursing and I've always done excellent with it when I wasn't nursing. Now, I can't lose anything and it's just aggravating to say the least!  Trying to lose weight while nursing just isn't working for me. I know most women lose weight just because they're nursing but not me. I can't even lose anything while doing WW and working out.  What gives???

I'm sorry!
I do not have kids and therefore am not breastfeeding, but lately everyone acts like it is so easy to lose weight. My one friend only gained 20 pounds while pregnant and said she lost 35 pounds solely from BF-ing and is now less than she weighed before the baby!! It's frustrating...
I am trying to lose 23 pounds. I am working out every single day putting a lot of effort towards it and eating healthy. Before I never worked out and ate like a pig... yet I was maintaining that way and now I am still maintaining. Except working so much harder for no results.
How long have you been at it? I have only done this for a little over 30 days and I think maybe since I am not seeing results now that hopefully double will come off next month??

Have you had blood work to see if your thyroid is properly functioning?

Maybe you are burning to many calories between the BF and working out. Have you tried eating more?

I never lost weight while nursing I did not gain either ( thank u god) I just never understand those people that said the weight melted off of them.

I am having the same problem. DS is 10 months now and honestly I cannot WAIT to have my body back for pure superficial reasons. I just can't believe I am not losing weight. Although I don't always eat enough food but sometimes it is so hard to fit it in!

the only way i lost while bfing and nursing was to cut out the bread.
i ate very little carbs...

same here. i didnt lose anything while bfing. only wheni cut out carbs did i see anything happen.

I hear ya! My son is 18 months and I have only gained weight with nursing. My appetite is huge and I can't drop anything or even think about dieting. I was always very fit up until now (even 9 months pregnant!)
