Do you feel bad......
leaving your dog home when you are going out?
I used to take him in the car, because you say "Wanna go for a Ride" and he goes CRAZY, and LOVES the car, but it is too hot to take him. I find that he looks so sad when I leave, and feel so guilty

Yes I do - that was one of the reasons I wanted to get another puppy. If we are going to families house we usually bring her (and most of my family is more excited to see Molly then to see us  ) But if I'm going out shopping - or working - or anything where I know I won't be gone for too long I don't feel THAT bad leaving her.
Besides - I LOVE coming home when she gets all excited. That is the best.

yes, every time I leave. I always try and bring her, but then I remember not everyone loves her like me and wants to hang out with a hyper pup.

I always feel bad. I take him with me whenever I can because he just LOVES it. Right now, it is just too hot, even 5 minutes in the car is too much. I think I will be giving him extra time at doggie day care over the summer.....

I always feel bad. I was thinking of doing the same thing. that way he gets entertained and i don't have to get depressed so often.

Yes, but I think he just sleeps when we are gone so I have come to realize that I miss him more than he misses me.

I used to feel really badly when he was a puppy and was crated or confined in the kitchen. Now, he just goes and lays on his bed or the sofa when I am getting ready to leave --he seems comfortable. The only time I feel bad is if it is a weekend (which is play-time) and I have to leave him for a long time.

yes all the time. Sometimes we stop at fast food places and pick them up "treats" because we left them all day or night
