DH's who are weight obsessed?
Does anyone have DH's who are weight obsessed? Mine is and I can't stand it. 
I know he is just a product of his environment, his Mom & entire family is weight obsessed, he used to model and wrestle in high school... But, I cannot stand the fact that he makes comments to ME.
Some of his recent ones have been: "all overweight people are lazy", he points out fat on various regions of my body, etc., yells at me for not making time for the gym...
Anyone else dealing with issues like these?

I am so sorry for the way you feel. My DH is a gym rat and he is really obsessed with working out. I do work out alot myself so he really does not bother about me about working out. However, he does make comments about people's weight at times. He feels that people needs to watch their diet alot more and exercise. It can be annoying so I do understand how you would feel about your DH comments.

My DH used to say things to me like :do you really need to eat that?"
Hmm...well after many fights that left me crying I told him to accept me no matter what or leave me.
It has since stopped.

NO If my DH EVER said things to me like that he'd be out on the curb! Im sorry but that is Verbal abuse and you really need to put an end to it

sorry you are going through this. you need to tell him how you feel. .
I am the opposite, I tell my DH that he shouldn't eat certain things because I am concerned with his health, but if you are not fat, then he should realy keep his mouth shut.
this is a very dificult subject. there are many ways to look at the situation. It would be different if your health was at risk.
