About how much does a PA make?
(physicians assistant)
Working in a hospital ?
working in an office?
how much would they be working for that $

Starting income: $75k-$80K
After a few years experience: $100-$120+K

thank you, I should have added, how much would they work for that?
would you make a good amount only working 2, 12 hour shifts a week?
maybe I went into the wrong profession

This is based on a FT job. I looked into going into the PA program and after talking to a few PA, this is what I was told.

My sis is a PA in buffalo so the salary would be lower there than here but she works 4 ten hour days and makes around $85 and this is her 3rd year in that profession.

I work PT as a PA and make a pretty good salary. Hourly if you are salaried, you can make about $40-50 an hour starting, and if you do a per-diem shift you can make upwards of $70 per hour for your shift. I know a PA who has been practicing for a little over 10 years and he is making over $60/hr.

My best friend is a PA in a medical office here on LI. She works 4 10 hour days and makes about $85,000/year. She graduated a little over a year ago and this is the first job she has had since graduating.

My friend is a PA.. got a job right out of school in an office on LI and starting salary was 80k... insane lol
