Gunnar has to go to the vet tomorrow
I'm a little worried about my old man cat! His eyes always weep a little...but the right one has been getting worse, and we're starting to see some swelling on that side of his face.
The same thing happened two years ago and his face blew up! We took him to the vet then and he had in infected tooth with an absess, which was removed, got re-infected and then had to drain out (gross).
I'm going to try to get him into the vet tomorrow....but we just moved, so I'll have to bring him to my parent's vet and we've never been there before...so I'm a little nervous. And he's not the nicest animal in the world, so I'm always afraid of bringing him to the vet because he gets really nasty and loud .
So, if you wouldn't mind - send some happy thoughts our way....hopefully it won't be too serious.

I spend so much time trying to get him not to bite me, that sometimes I forget that I do really love him .
He has a 3:30 appointment this afternoon.

WOW! I finally found someone Gunnar hates more than me! The vet! Gunnar was fine until he walked into the room and then the growling began....turned into hissing and spitting and lunging. He's so sweet, my little baby!
The doctor thinks it's probably a tooth infection also, but due to Gunnar's attitude, wasn't really able to see.
So he gave me antibiotics to help with the swelling, and I'm bringing Gunnar back Thursday morning for some blood work and dental Xrays...all under sedation, of course!
So, I guess the old guy is going to be ok!

We were actually able to give him his medicine (surprisingly easy - he must be getting old!) tonight and he seems to be feeling better. 
Hope DH doesn't mind when I wake him early tomorrow morning to help me give it to him again!

I feel your pain! My Most unhappy grouchy kitty is on 3 yes 3 medications right now, and its HELLL trying to give them to her!
