Boys who have had/having communion
Where did you purchase the band for their arm and did you get them a flower on that day?

I bought my son's armband from Little Dickens in Lake Grove. Also, he wore a white rose on his jacket.

When we did communion last year (I'm a CCD teacher), we provided the arm bands for the boys. Some had flowers, some did not. I would, if it were my son.
My school might have provided the arm bands because it's a low income neighborhood, but you can check with the school.

His religion teacher did not say she would have them and he doesn't go to catholic school. Just religious education at someone's home.

There is a store called Faith Matters in Valley Stream 184 Rockaway Ave. They were at our parent meeting with an assortment of goods.

I purchased the arm band at the church where he made his Communion. They had a company come in and sell the arm bands, rosaries, bibles...etc.
I bought him a white rose for his jacket.

I think its still on Middle Country Road just east of Hawkins.
