updated back from the doc.
Well I went to the Doc. this morning and she said the reason the pregnancy test was still pos. was because I still had some of the HCg in my system.But she did a pregnancy test there and it was neg. and An ultrasound and it showed that I didn't have anything in there anymore.I feel better knowing.So she put me on birth control I choosed to use the NuvaRing.I'm gonna stay on that for 4 months and then go back and start planning on TTC in Nov. this year.Thank You everyone for your advice.All of you have been so nice.

Besides having another pregnancy test & blood work done, I would have an inravaginal ( spelling- sorry)ultrasound or sonogram( they verified what was happening with me when I had my mc)
 sorry for the uncertainty you are experiencing

I would totally request and Ultrasound. This sounds odd that it would still be positive. Maybe somehow the bloodwork got screwed up. If you are preggo in the end...I personally would change drs. That is just too much if this is all wrong!

I would ask for a new blood test to be sure, OR call and get the beta number( the amount of HCG or PG hormone that was in your blood)
I had a chemical PG and my beta was 5 ( which is VERY VERY low) and I got a dark positive on a target test. My friend had a beta of 18 and got digital Pregnants on her tests. Unfortunatly some tests detect very little amounts, under 25 even which is too low to sustain a PG.
The numbers are truly what they go by.
Never the less, I hope for some strange reason she WAS wrong

Thanks everyone.I thought it was odd that it would still be pos.When I called to get the results of the blood test she didn't give me the numbers all she said was they were low and with the spotting that I had a Miscarriage she didn't give me a ultrasound or even exam me.

You HAVE to call. It could be one of two things.
1.) You miscalculated the date and they just tested too early giving you a low reading. You are pregnant and the numbers are going up
or
2.) you had a blighted ovum (early m/c) and your body is not taking care of it on its own and you may need a D&C.
You should definately get another blood test and a sono.

hey july 2nd I think was when I first took a HPT.I know it was before the 4th of july .And it was a faint Pos.

I would call and ask for your exact number. At this point if PG it would need to be in the hundreds at the very minimum. If it is, I would request it be retested frequently. If its not and you havent experienced any heavy bleeding, you may need a D & C like a previous poster stated.

Low progesterone could cause spotting in early PG. I'm sorry but I think your Dr i being very careless with your health. My SIL bled through the first 4 mos with her daughter who is now a healthy 8 yr old. I would demand better treatment.

You made a very good point...maybe your #s dont match bc you miscalculated the conception date.

I hate to say that it is possible to get a positive a couple of weeks after a miscarriage. I had what is called a silent miscarrige. I had no symptoms that anything was wrong my body was proceeding as if everything was fine.Only an ultrasound confirmed that the fetus had not grown in 2 weeks.
