ER or Dr appt Monday UPDATED
I have s lump/swelling in my neck. When I tilted my head to the side when blow drying I noticed it. It's to the side just below and behind my ear. I'm BUGGING out. 
Update: I saw my PCP today and he wants me to go to an ENT. he suspects it's a lypoma which is not a big deal. I feel much better. Not complete relief yet, but better.

Are your ears pierced? I have very sensitive ears, and I had an infection in one of my piercings once that caused a lump in that place. I went to my doctor and she diagnosed it as such right away.
I would call your MD in any case, though. Feel better!

I read that there are many glands in that area, behind ear and down the neck. I wouldn't worry too much. My kids have them and they get very swollen when they aren't feeling well. I would wait till Monday.

I once had a neck gland the size of a tennis ball - it was awful- but just my glands working overtime fighting infection.
I still get golf ball sized ones when I get sick - just under my jaw bone.

I had something siimilar a couple of years ago, right below my jawline, a couple of round lumps.. it was right around this time of year. It was swollen lymph nodes fighting seasonal allergies...

this happened to me last month and I FREAKED OUT....went to the dr and it turned outto be nothing but my father had a lump in his neck and it was hodgkins disease and he died at 29yrs old.......get it check out it doesnt hurt to just let a dr look at it
