So different I think than The Lovely Bones..crazy lady lol

i started it a long time ago, but didn't get very far into it. i can't remember why---i don't know if i was very busy (it was after i had my first daughter) or if i didn't like it.

did you like it? maybe i will go dig it up....

I really tried to like it but it was just very odd. I have to say not a fan.

did you read Lucky? that was her second book, i think. i wasn't really a fan of that one either. but i loved Lovely Bones.

I didn't read Lucky but now I'm not sure I will even bother. The Lovely Bones came in the mail yesterday from Netflix so maybe I will like it too.

I read it and I have not yet read the Lovely Bones.

it was a very interesting read. quite jarring in certain instances and not always with a good flow I guess.

it's hard for me to remember b/c I read it while I was in half a sleepless stupor pumping for my son

I do remember some of the decisions the protaganist made really bothered me. she annoyed me at certain points.

but I wanted to see how it ended. the ending was interesting.

I honestly thought this was one of the worst books I ever read, and I had such high hopes for it because Lovely Bones is one of my absolute favorites, for the story but also for the way it was written. I was disappointed.
