i just had 1 package of the preemie diapers.
we took a lot home from the hospital and figured that we would make a run when needed!
just so we didn't waste more money on preemie diapers

I just used newborn...that is what they used in the NICU they just folded them down a little.

the newborn were huge on my DD for awhile but my DS fit in them. I used 2 packages of preemies and then went to NB (and used more of the preemie ones for DD)
they NICU sent me home with 2 small packages.
i would only get 1 pack of preemie, they sell small packs then newborns.

We bought a few packages of newborn size. My twins were in preemie clothes, but they were fine in the newborn diapers.

I used newborn diaper at first (took a bunch from the hospital, and then bought one big package) then moved into size 1s. And stayed in size 1s for a looong time!
