I need 3 extractions...how bad is this gonna be?

I'm planning to be put all the way out.

Just looking for some encouragement, I guess.

You won't feel a thing if you're out. You'll wake up and say "When are you going to start?"

And then you'll have an ice cream party for a few days.

I was numbed when my wisdom teeth came out.
Didn't feel a thing except for some tugging - no pain though.

You'll be fine! The anxiety before the procedure is really worse than the procedure itself!

Just make sure to follow all of the instructions that they give you...that will help you heal faster.

But by all means, milk it for all it's worth...watch your favorite shows and exist on a diet of pudding and Jello for a couple of days, even if you feel fine.

Thanks everyone. I have an update...

My dentist put me on a regimen of antibiotics and painkillers so that I could wait the 2 weeks to have the procedure done (I'm a teacher and my kids are taking their high-stakes End-of-Grade tests in 1 1/2 weeks).

Today, I was in excruciating pain and I managed to get an emergency consult appointment @ the oral surgeon for tomorrow. So I'm hoping to be done and over with this SOON.

Thanks for all your support, everyone. Dental stuff completely freaks me out
