If I wear.....
... a nice dressy top and a pair of dress pants, will I not get the teaching job I am applying for?
Is that a dealbreaker?
I got called last night for an interview this morning and I don't fit in my suit

Re: If I wear.....
I think as long as you look professional & put together you will do fine. Good luck.

Re: If I wear.....
Do you have a black blazer?
Can you wear your suit with the jacket unbuttoned?

Re: If I wear.....
i think you'd be fine, but maybe throw a cardigan over the top if you have one? I don't fit in my suits either. I have a court appearance today and I'm wearing black maternity pants and my suit jacket... which comes nowhere near being able to be buttoned... and i really can't lift my arms... but unless you're up in my grill inspecting the fabric, i don't think anyone can tell it's not an actual suit set, kwim? if the jacket kind of works, just wear it with whatever pants/skirt you can match it with. and good luck!

Re: If I wear.....
The skirt doesn't fit... I look neat and professional, it is an outfit I used to wear for teaching, so it's not like I'm going in in jeans or something.
I'm crossing my fingers that it's not a total dealbreaker.

Re: If I wear.....
I interview people and I would never make not wearing a suit be a deal breaker. If you are dressed neat and professional that should be fine.

I agree. Not that I work in the most professional environment, but overall professionalism is what counts more. Good luck!
