Kindle and borrowing from libraries
I just got the Kindle and just heard that they now let you sign up to get books from the libraries...
Can anyone walk me through this?

Mother's day? Me too
Amazon has just announced its partnership with Overdrive (the primary public library eBook vendor), with plans to roll out later this year. They haven't offered a specified timeline - I assume actually they rushed to make the announcement in time for Mother's Day gifts. Worked, apparently!
I'm in the industry - I'll keep you posted as I hear more. At least on our end, Amazon has not yet contacted the Publishers with the change / contract amendments.
