Vampire Academy
I'm almost done with this series and I'm sad that it's almost over. I seriously read books 3,4 & 5 this weekend! I'm holding off on reading book 6 because I don't want it to end. Has anyone read any other of Richelle Mead's books?

Re: Vampire Academy
I loved this series but I don't see any of her adults series living up so I haven't. I've read other YA books instead. I can't wait for Bloodlines, her spinoff to VA to come out in August.

What other series did you read and enjoy? I finished the VA series and now i'm going through withdrawal.

Re: Vampire Academy
I tried Richelle Mead's adult series... sooooooooooo disappointing. I finished the book but I really had to slog through it where I breezed through VA. I really like Kelley Armstrong's series Women of the Other World. The first book is Bitten and it's about werewolves but the series is about all different kinds of supernaturals and it's probably my fave!

I've read several YA series.
The Immortals Series - Alyson Noel House of Night series - PC Cast The Iron Fey Series - Julie Kagawa Fallen Series - Lauren Kate
These all still have more books to come as well.
The Trylle Trilogy - Amanda Hocking My Blood Approves Series - Amanda Hocking
And of course there is the Sookie Stackhouse series.
Matched by Ally Condy (this is the 1st book in the trilogy. I believe the next one is out in November)
I'm sure you've already read The Hunger Games trilogy.
ETA: I am currently reading The Mortal Instruments series- Cassandra Clare

Re: Vampire Academy
If you have read The Hunger Games that would be my first pick. Then House of Night Then The Immortals.
I enjoyed them all though. Some I just got into a little quicker than others but I can't say I didn't like any of them but I have really, really enjoyed the YA genre.

Re: Vampire Academy
i didn't know you read them! I felt/feel the same way. Except I keep accidentally referring to them as vampire diaries
agree with the above on Amanda Hocking - I read both the Trylle Trilogy and My Blood Approves and they were pretty good though not quite up to VA standards.
the sookie books are all good too if you haven't read them; i'm getting a little sick of them/confused though. there are too many now and I've read all except the newest. I also read the Harper Connelly series by Charlaine Harris; also good.

I didn't know you were reading it either. I got laughed at on the car ride to book club because I admitted to reading this series but I think it was more because of my admitted crush on Dimitri then me actually reading the series. I read all the Charlaine Harris books. The last one was not so great so I'm skeptical about her newest book that just came out. I hope she redeems herself!
I need to fill this Vampire Academy void in my life.
