Rough morning
So i had been feeling a bit better about my weight and over the past few weeks have seen some improvement on the scale and in my clothes. My nutritionist really wants me to do a cheat day/meal each week so that my metabolism gets that extra boost during the week so that it doesn't continue to slow too much. Yesterday was going to be my cheat meal day. We had unexpected visitors and didn;t eat lunch and then went to straight to a friends and had some snacks and foods that I don't consider my "normal" foods. I had a fantastic weigh in yesterday. I thought that I probably didn't eat enough yesterday since everything was so off. I woke up this morning, got my period and weighed in and was up 2 pounds from yesterday! I feel so yucky about it even though i am sure it's a combination of weird foods and my period. Please tell me I am being ridiculous. Laugh at me. It's fine..really!

Just kidding
It's OK! Seeing those extra pounds sucks but you have to realize it's not "real" weight.
I just got back from vacation and gained 3 lbs. I also just got my period. Not stressing at all. Your exra weight and mine will be gone by then end of the week.
Try not to stress

It really doesn't count as real weight!! I cheat almost every weekend after I weigh in Sunday morning. Last weekend I weighed in at 119.8 on Sat. morning- on Monday I was 125. This next Saturday I weighed in again at the same weight- 119.8. This morning I was back up to 124.4.
I usually gain about 4-5lbs on Monday and its always gone by Saturday! I just keep reminding myself: "I always lose the weight again"

Re: Rough morning
Don't weigh yourself every day - So many factors can contribute to your daily weights - water retention, going to the bathroom, etc - if it is going to upset you to see these fluctuations, which are totally normal, I would weigh less.
I used to weigh myself daily years ago and I was a slave to the scale. Now I recognize that weight is just a number that doesn't tell the whole story of fitness.

Re: Rough morning
Lauren try not to be upset over this. You have your period it is normal to feel yucky! Give yourself a couple of days and I am sure the scale will be right back where it was on Sunday.
