Update 7/21/06
I don't know whether to be happy or sad, I am all confused.
Went to the RE today and the follies are very slow in maturing. It looks like a Wednesday retrevial. We were suposed to leave for vacation on Saturday and that is not going to happen because they said that transfer will be on Sunday? Why 4 days? Every other place does them in 2-3 days not 4.
So, I come home and DH is all ****** off about having to change plans and how much money this is going to cost....blah, blah. We have a big argument b/c he is his normal "I am an only child so the world revolves around me" mood. I storm out of the house so very angry.
Anyway, he apologizes about being a stupid jerk, but we still don't seem to be able to move the vacation plans around at all. I don't even care about the money. It stinks but a baby is way more important then golf!
So heres to looking towards Wednesday, good eggs, and sticky vibes! Although I love you ladies immensely, I want to graduate this board!

My retrieval was last Monday and they did the transfer on Thursday. Maybe they want to monitor the embryos longer at your place? They say anywhere from 3-5 days after retrieval. So that's five for you....maybe they will move it up. GOOD LUCK with everything! Hopefully we'll both be graduates of this board!

wow, ivf can really stink at times. sorry about the vacation.
there was 5 days for me btwn retrieval (sunday) and transfer (friday) because i had pgd done to the embryos. if anything they can really watch which embryos grow the strongest and choose them for transfer. best of luck with everything!!

ugh...gotta love the craziness this reduces us to huh? SO SO sorry about your vacation. Im sure your DH was just upset that you both were not able to relax at all which Im sure is needed. Im glad he apologized, because its NOT YOUR fault what timing brings.
Hope to hear a good update in a few days!

Im sorry you had to change plans. I had to move dates round to accomodate dr.'s appointments.
Like the girls said, having those embies grow longer is a GREAT thing, because the chances of them implanting will be better
