I ran my first 5K today!
Well after a few months of training I am happy to say that i ran my first 5K and i actually ran the entire race! I did it in 33:39 which is faster then i thought I would. It was such an amazing experience and I can't wait to do it again. The best part was getting right near that finish line and looking up to see DH and the kids with my mom cheering me on. And my daughter ran out to meet me and ran the last stretch with me holding my hand. The feeling of accomplishment was so overwhelming to me. If anyone is thinking of doing one I would say do it! It's such a great experience.
