Abby's official last day of nursery school was today. She came back with a photo book the teachers put together of the year entitled "The Way We Were." OK, right there that killed me. Then all the photos of the year. Then the closing letter from her teachers...forget it! I broke down. Chat Icon Tomorrow is her little show; Thursday is her class party and then that's it... No more nursery. Chat Icon

Then next Tuesday is Katherine's kindergarten graduation. Graduation?!? How is my first-born little girl almost six years old and almost a kindgergarten graduate? I thought it was bad last night when we got her new Catholic school plaid jumpers, shirts, ties and knee socks in the mail. I'm totally going to lose it next week. Sigh. Chat Icon

So who's crying too this month?

I barely held it together during my DS's pre-k graduation yesterday. Although it wasn't as bad as the pre-k Mother's Day Tea.... the teacher read that story "Love You Forever" to everyone, and all the moms were breaking down so much at the end the assistant teacher had to pass around a box of tissues Chat Icon

Awww...I feel ya girl.

I was a hot hysterical mess when she lost her tooth last week. While there is no "graduation" from kindergarten, I am sure I will be a disaster when I get her teacher assignment for next year...1st GRADE!!!!!!!

DS graduates kindergarten one week from today. He is very sad about it (says first grade will be much more work than kindergarten - smart kid Chat Icon ). I'm sad too - this year flew by!

I still have one more year thank GOD. I am so glad I had a January baby or I would be watching pre-school graduation next week and planning for kindergarden.Chat Icon But Jack finishes with his nanny and starts preschool with Grace next month. That one is going to be tough- she is like his second mom. Chat Icon

I lost it already at K Orientation a few weeks back when they cued the sappy music and played the slides. Roman's Pre-K Graduation is on 6/20 and I know I'll be a mess, listening to him sing and hearing all of the stories of how they've grown and how it's time to move onChat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Tomorrow is my twins graduation from Pre-K - I know I am going to be a total mess. The teachers sent home a beautiful dvd today with 350 pictures of the school year. That did me in. I just packed a whole wad of tissues along with my camera for tomorrow.

My "baby" graduates Pre-K on Monday. And I think it will truly hit me since she really is my baby. There are no more after her, and more likely none to follow.

I already got her uniform for school next year (they wear them starting in K). She tried it on and she wasn't a baby anymore. Chat Icon she's all grown up.

And that just makes me feel old Chat Icon

MeChat Icon My First born will graduate Pre K in two weeks and I know I will have to brace myself as she has already been practicing her songs at home and she is so sincere and into it that it kills meChat Icon

The thing is none of the other moms seem to get emotional at these things - I was the only mom crying at my DD's nursery pre k.....all the other moms were just moaning that school was out and they would have to deal with them for the summer...

I wish I had a few of you moms to cry along with me on the day.Chat Icon

Tomorrow is DD's end-of-year show are nursery school. She will be going to a different school next year so that makes it especially bittersweet.

And on Friday she turns 4 -- 4!!!! I swear just yesterday I was taking all thos IF drugs.

I want my baby back!!!

That book makes me cry everytime but it's good to stop and read it every now and then to remind you to slow down a little bit and enjoy how little they are right now! I cried like a baby at my DS showcase on monday and I can't kick this sad feeling in my gut that he's going to kindergarten and growing up before my eyes.. Chat Icon

It was not a good situation for me either - we moved and closed on the only house Alex has ever known, on the SAME day as her graduation from preschool. So, I literally went to the house, saw it was empty, closed the door for the last time, walked down the block and saw Alex perform at the graduation ceremony. I was fighting back tears every second, and all the moms kept coming over to me to ask if I was ok Chat Icon Chat Icon

We have another year of pre-K and all your posts encourage me to cherish every moment of it.

Big week for DD none the less. She is about to earn a belt in Tae Kwon Do, has her year end party at school, and has her first dance recital. At the dance recital she is dancing one of her numbers with her father. She has no idea yet but she is winning a trophy and being named to the competitive dance company. I have no idea how I will hold it together.

ME!!!!!!!!

On Wednesday, Megan has her "moving up" ceremony. I have been crying for weeks. This was her first experience with school. It started out ROUGH! Between her crying every day (until after the holidays) and having a few issues with the teachers..but everything fell into place and she now LOVES school. I LOVED the class, the kids were SO GOOD..they all got along, it was like a little family. She has matured so much and I cant believe MY BABY is going to Kindergarten in September. How is this possible?!??!!??!

If I have been bawling for 2 weeks, I cant imagine what Wednesday is going to be like. Then that night, we are taking her to her first Broadway play, Mary Poppins. Broadway is HUGE for me and I cannot wait to see her reaction. Just another reason for me to cry! You are DEFINITELY not alone! Chat Icon
