Long Island Center for Social Skills???
Has anyone heard of this organization and if so, can you share feedback (positive or negative).
I came across a listing for this organization in a magazine. They are close to our home and offer social skills groups that sound beneficial for my son (he has PDD-NOS). But I have never heard of them, from our school district, other parents, therapists, anyone, and I find that odd since they are so well located. Just wondering if there is a reason no one has recommended this place, or if they don't have the best reputation.

i know the owner very well! she is a good colleague of mine.
etd to add that they are relatively new.

Thank you! I'm going to see if they have programs for children DSs age, though from the website it appears directed more for school age children.
It would be fantastic if they did--right now, not much is close to us so there is a lot of schleping.
