Anyone else go back and forth sometimes
with whether they are trully ready?
The only two things that are hesitating me are:
1- THE PAIN OF CHILDBIRTH!!
2- DH and I havent really traveled much besides the caribbean... we'd like to go to Europe and Hawaii... but should that stop us??

giving birth hurts! But that's what an Epidural is for!
With that said, yes, Dh and I went back and forth from excitement to concern, but in the end my DD is soo worth it, and I wouldn't change a thing
I think having those feelings is completely normal
ETA: We are still planning on going to Italy again, and to Hawaii, that's what Grandparents are for

yes! mainly because I have a dibilitating fear of doctors and I'm terrified of being pregnant.

Ditto on one, our #2 is $$$$$$$. I always wonder if we ever feel we will have enough $$ to do this

I know, I feel this way too... I think a part of me is feeling like I want to have a child now, and also before I'm 30... I am 29 now... but at the same time, I'm afraid that if we dont travel and stuff now, we may never... ughhhhhh

Constantly ...back and forth
I spent the weekend with friends and their children and I kept wondering if I could do it.
DH is ready and I will never be ( for the same reasons you mentioned) so we got rid of the BCP and will let nature take its course.
Its hard being off my crutch because I always think I feel something. I have been driving myself crazy

I flip flop a million times each day...
just when I think I'm definitely sure I think about how my life will change and then I panic.
I think (and hope) its normal.

me too! yet all I want is to get pregnant.
For me, I'm looking at it as one step at a time. I'm not thinking about the pain later and all the doctors. Just get PG. Just get PG. Just get PG. This is what I tell myself LOL Then once I achieve (heh) that, I'll start psyching myself into having to go to the doctor. Then I have a long time to psych myself into actually getting the baby out. If I think about it all now, I'll never have a baby ;)
