synergy people
im thinking of changing gyms bc mine does not offer classes and i would really like to incorporate something different into my routine.
with a synergy membership, can you go to ANY syngery club? there is one right by my house but there is another one not too far that has more classes that appeal to me, so i would like to be able to go to both.
also baldwin is the only one that seems to offer a spin class and i would love to try this!
any info on this?

It depends on the gym. I belong with Levittown which has the same owner as Massapequa and Farmingdale. As a member of Levittown I can go to the other two for the classes (not sure about other locations though). I know my dad is a Levittown member and takes spin at Farmingdale.
I love the classes that are offered in Levittown!

I'm not a member yet but I went to the merrick one and they said you could not use the other facilities. Levittown isn't that far so I think I may go there. Not sure if they're all the same but Merrick requires a $250 registration fee and its $35/month
They were running a special though for $150 registration fee instead of the $250

I belong to Merrick and they said that technically you can't but most of the ones with the same owner will let you visit occasionally. I never have, so I don't know how true this is.
You can haggle with them on the fees. They originally told me that amount but I paid much less down and pay less per month.

those are the locations i would be going to....mainly massapequa but levittown for classes (they sound so much better there!)

The Levittown classes are great!! I love Tactix on Mon and Wed. night.
Def. talk to them and try get the price down.
