Volunteer jobs for pre-teens/teens?
We are a little late.
We had the summer planned out, but plans fell through. I am trying to find things for DS to do. Hopefully a volunteer job.
Lol - He was not interested in anything our library had to offer.
Of course it does not help that his friends have really fun jobs lined up.
Places other than the library that I can look at this point?

I don't know the minimum age, but the iMatter surf camp for children w/ autism is looking for volunteers for their one day camp in Westhampton this Summer.

Not a volunteer job, but a job as a cashier in a supermarket is great for teenagers imho. It teaches them how to be courteous to other people, use money, know the value of money, and makes them use their brain a little.

Go to
Long Island Volunteer
and click on Summer 2011. You will get a big list of opportunities ranging from working with animals to museum work.
