AF 8 days after D+C? HELP ME PLEASE!!!

Is this even possible? I didn't bleed after the D+C. Now, 8 days later, it seems like I have my regular period. I got the zit on the side of my nose, super cranky/ emotional today, etc...all the regular AF signs. So confused! Also, I used a tampon. Is that a big no-no?

I started to bleed a little around 7 days after my D&C. I barely bled at all right after the D&C. TMI- but it started with two large clots and then about 2 days of light bleeding. I got AF exactly 4 weeks later. My Dr said nothing internally for two weeks after the D&C. HTH

I was told it isn't your period unless it has been at least 21 days post D&C. Anything earlier could be attributed to the D&C. I had no bleeding after my D&C and then thought I got AF a week later (for only a day).

My doc said nope. AF didn't show for me for almost 60 days!!!! . I was also 10 weeks along. I think my doc said something about the further along you are, it can take the body longer to recognize the pregnancy is over.

Oh...also as pp mentioned, nothing internal- def. no tampons.
