I wish I could take my cat on vacation...
So DH and I are planning our vacation - just talking and tentatively picked a week for a cruise to Bermuda. Havent booked anything, asked for time off, or anything.
I'm already crying because I don't want to leave my kitty. She's not very social and would get freaked out if we left her at a boarding place, so one of our relatives will come over every other day to give her food and talk to her a little bit. But it still makes me sad and makes me cry.
It's amazing how attached you get to your animals. If I had to leave DH behind for a week to go on vacation, I'd just say bye and go on my merry way. LOL

I hear you! We went on a cruise in Jan and I cried when we left and several times while we were there. It is so hard to do!

Aww! I'm sorry! I feel your pain! I hate having to leave my furbabies at home!  Is there any possibility of having someone you trust pet/house sit for you?

we went to VA Beach for a week in July and I missed my kitty so much and I know he missed me so much because when I got home...he was attached to my legs!

Not really - see, my kitty is not the friendliest in the world. She is only warm to me and my husband. She won't let anyone else touch her without the claws coming out, so I'll just say she doesn't have the best reputation with everyone. 
I really think that our part is our fault. When she was young she never saw anyone except me and my husband. So other people besides us is tramutizing for her. I wish we had more other people around her so she would be more comfortable with them.

I always feel the same way - it kills me to leave my Pookie - oh yeah, and the dog too
It's the one thing that puts a damper on vacations!
