Upper Body Workouts - Reco's needed

So I broke my fibula (ankle) in march, fast forward 12 weeks and I have had zero healing so I have to go back to phase 1 and basically cannot exercise this area at all and have to be very careful I do not further damage it.

BUT I am going out of my mind as my entire body is getting flabbier and flabbier and I have to do something with at least one part of my body.

Has anyone got any tried and tested upper body exercises / dvd's that they can share so I can at least have a toned upper body even if the lower half looks like a disaster zone.

boxing.

When I hurt my knee I found I get a really good high intensity workout from boxing- with very little foot movement required.

I went to a class and learned the techniques- all the basic jabs and punches. Now I do it on my own (my gym has a punching bag).

I just found out Synergy in Farmingdale offers MMA classes- I have to look into those.

Honestly, I never thought I'd like boxing but its an awesome workout. High intensity with little impact on the lower half of your body (unless you are incorporating kicks which I don't because of my knee).
