We did it
We took the credit cards and atm cards out of our wallets. We put them away and set ourselves on a budget. We want to be in a house by next year and this is really the only way so we can save and don't spend needlessly. I hope it works!

Congrats! good Luck. I found once I stopped using my ATM so much I spent a lot less money.

ITA. I take out x amount every paycheck and use that instead of the ATM. Its hard cause I'm used to spending but not budgeting so it kind of forces me to budget for the week

Congratulations! I stopped using cc's for the most part a few years ago but I find using debit cards is just as dangerous. I think we are going to do this too start doing the envelope system. Good luck!
