I had my consult about the SIRMNY-Study
And they told me that it is on hold for now and they are unsure if they are bringing it back. I went ahead and did the consult with Dr. Bayrak over the phone since when we do move back to the Northeast, I want to continue going to SIRM. For those of you who don't know, I am a patient at SIRM- Dallas and we are now trying to figure out how to finance IVF.
Anywho, We chatted for about an hour. He explained how every doctor has a different school of thought on medicine. By this point in my journey, I already know that. But, I decided to go for yet another reputable professional opinion about my fibroids/questionable hydro. (my SIRM-Dallas Re related that I didnt need surgery). So I scheduled an appt. for Aug 22 the day of our GTG. So it looks like I will be able to attend and meet you girls! Kara I hope you are still able to pick me up?
Any feedback on Dr. Bayrack? I read on another message board that he is Dr. Hottie of the SIRM-Group.  So other than him being Dr. Stud Muffin, I would like some feedback.
It looks like we may participate the Outcome Base Program .....where they guarantee a live birth or your money back. TIA

He he he he yeah on IVFconnections we call him Dr. Hottie. Never had him peeking at my hoo-ha, tho. Not sure if I could handle that!
I see Dr. Batzofin who is in the same office. I LOVE the office - the girls there are great (despite my insurance issues right now but I blame that more on the insurance company really). I have heard good things about Dr. Hottie tho. He isn;t on my insurance plan so I would not have had even my office visits covered with him.
You are in great hands!
ANd yes I am the local gtg taxi driver so don't worry, I will take you to the gtg!
PS - I am trying to get them to change me to the Outcome Based Program too.

Okay, Kara....am I an idiot. I didnt even think to see if they took my insurance? WTH was I thinking. I need to call back. AS for the OBP, we just need to make sure my DH qualifies. AT SIrm-Dallas I qualified.
