Re: paralyze d vocal chord
I have vocal cord nodules so I can relate to the special voice you are probably experiencing now! Oddly enough, I am a music teacher so it can be challenging. Not sure what they will do for you exactly at speech therapy but I do recommend vocal rest until you have some sort of plan in place. Also, i went to a speech therapist for my nodules and sadly she wasnt experienced in treated vocal cord issues so I really got nothing out of it. Make sure you see someone who is TRAINED and has EXPERIENCE in working with vocal cord health NOT just things like speech impediments and stuttering! GOod luck!
