Coordinating TTC with another female

Has anyone timed TTC with another female before?? How did it work out??

Me & my sis will be TTC at the same time and I think it will be interesting!

Me ands my SIL were trying at the same time. She found out and I got sort of upset because we wanted to be PG also, we had been trying for 3 years. Well anyway we found out not long after and were so excited. Our babies were borm 5 days apart, she had a girl and I had a boy. It is fun to raise them together, its almost like they are twins. Check out my pics.

Forst one is when they were about a month, second is about 3-4 months

They are two now, I don't have a recent pic. Mins has always been skinny, she has always been a chubb. Mine takes after my family, she takes after her daddy, my DH brother

A friend who just got married and I are trying to coordinate as well. It was her idea, I talked hubby into it, well not really, he was ready to try anytime when I was.

I think TTC is stressful enough, I don't know if I would knowingly try to time it with someone else. I just feel like it is added pressure to an already stressful situation. But if it happens unknowingly, that would be cool!

although i think it is cute and supportive to go through the process with someone

I would love to have that (hint hint...you know who you are)

But i really don't think i would actually go out of my way to coordinate it

I do think it would be good - because you would be going through the same things at the same time. The way things go though - I don't really think it's that likely.

Red - can we be preggo at the same time too?

One of my good friends is TTC. I haven't told her that we are as well. We both have had comments like..."wouldn't it be fun if we were preggo at the same time?"

So I guess we are not officially coordinating, but I am hoping!

My sister and I talked about this also. I don't think we're going to go for it.

Our kids will be close in age and that is good enough for me.

It would be heartbreaking if we got pregnant together and then 1 of us had a miscarriage... or if 1 got pregnant right away and the other couldn't concieve. That remided would always be there.

But if you can make it work that is also great! I loved having cousins close in age.

We won't specifically TTC with anyone. I wouldn't handle it very well if the other couple was successful before DH and I. I would be completely jealous. If it happens that way then cool, but I wouldn't actually try.

mrsratz and I always joke about coordinating...but I don't know that it will work out. It could be fun, but that is tough to plan!

I didn't plan on being pregnant with someone but it turned out I was pregnant at the same time as several people: my cousin and a friend were due July, I had 2 friends due in September, I was due October and another friend due in November. The kids are SO close in age...(there were 3 girls and 3 boys)

many of my friends are PG now so when it's my turn they won't be ready for another one. so i'll probably be on my own

it would be cool to try though!

A dear friend of mine and I didn't plan it but we had our babies 4 days apart. Her's was late mine was early. She had an easy pregnancy. I didn't have that easy of pregnancy. She had a boy I had a girl. I love them growing up together since my daughter and her son have no cousins their own age. She is TTCing again. I would love to be trying again with her, but we are not ready yet. Hopefully our #2's will only be within a year of each other.

The only downfall is their birthdays. We had to plan their 1st birthday parties around each other so that they could be at each other's parties. Other than that, it was the only down fall.
