When are u most fertile?

I hear 16 days from 1st of AF.
Is this right? Or something like that.

Im so confused by all this.

I understood that your most fertile days are about 2 wks after AF. But I believe it varies for many woman. I guess CD14 is what the "norm" or rule of thumb is, but I dont' believe this holds true - some women ovulate as early as CD11, some as late as CD20 or more I'd imagine.

I went on WebMD and they have an ovulation calendar that actually tells you when are your most fertile days and when is the earliest date to take a home pregnancy test.

I have been led to believe it all depends on the length of your cycle. I don't think a woman that has a 28 day cycle and a woman that has a 37 day cycle would be fertile the same time, but I could be wrong.

One reliable way to tell when you are most fertile is to chart your temps. Everyone has a different "normal" fertile time. For me, I had 30-40 day cycles, and my O date ranged anywhere from Day 18 to 22 of my cycle.

there are also other ways to tell when you are fertile other than charting, just by being in tune with your body. IE: changes in cervical mucus, ovulation pains.

for me I think I am most fertile days 14-15.
I used this site: america baby
and I know it worked for a myself as well as few girls here, but it may not work for everyone.

I think on average people ovulate bte day 12-18.

That site works if you have a regular cycle that's about 28 days long. If your cycle is irregular it won't work.

Read "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" by Toni Wechsler. It's extremely helpful.
