Welcome! My pregnancy was excellent- zero complications, I stayed on the green team and my  were born vaginally at 37w2dys. Baby A was 6 lbs 8ozs 20 inches, and baby B was 5 lbs 1oz and 18 inches. Worked up til 30 weeks, gained a total of 41 pounds. My DH and I moved into my moms house - extra help required! We were with my mom for about 8 months. My girls were sttn at 8 months and around 5/6 months they were getting up once a night. Now at 13 months they go to bed btwn 6-630 and up in the am btwn 530-6. The first few months is a complete BLUR!!!!!!!!!!! It gets better around 5/6 months, now at 13 months its GREAT! Everyone says to me"must be alot of work" this is all I know, so I dont know anything different. Whatever I do, I do double. They both eat,wake up, take baths together, if I go to a store I take both, its not that bad. I really love it! Are you going to find out??? I didnt b/c the thrill of not knowing and truly- it was my reason to PUSH. The delivry room was packed and when everyone was screaming and cheering- its so great! ALso, its not just boy or girl, there are three possibities-

you are so sweet to write all of that. i am going to have to go back to work pretty early (8 weeks) so it's going to be very hard but we will have lots of help i hope. we are definitely going to find out. we have one DC already and i had to have a crash c-section so i will probably need another c-section with these babies. thank you so much i will definitely be asking many quesitons!!!!

Hi and congratulations! I think I wrote the same post as you just about a year ago. My dd was just 2 at the time I found out I was pregnant with twins. It was a complete surprise....no twins in the family and no fertility. It took a few months for the shock to wear off. I was so worried about dd and how it would effect her. I was so worried about money, possible bed rest, work etc.... But in the end everything always works out. I ended up having a great pregnancy....better than my first pregnancy. I delivered at 37.5 weeks. I decided to stay team green and we had 2 girls. Baby A was 6lbs 4oz and baby B was 6 lbs even. I gained 28 pounds.... But I started out big and wanted to be careful. I worked until the week before I gave birth and went back after 12 weeks. We ended up not getting a new car. We fit 3 car seats in the back of a corolla and rav-4 with no problem. Sure more room would be great but not a necessary expense at this time. My daughter had a hard time during my pregnancy....as soon as she realized something was up she became distant from me, favored her dad more. She would tell me she didn't want babies etc... I was so upset...but as soon as the babies were born she took to them. She has her moments but for the most part she is good. The first few months were rough. The hardest part for me was getting used to the divide and concur mentality. I would handle the twins and my husband would take care of our oldest. But now the twins are almost 5 months....they sleep pretty well, take good naps durning the day and life is starting to feel normal again.
