Struggling WWers/Dieters

Want to do a check in here?
I went grocery shopping today, meal planned for the week and I am going to write down my workout plan for the week as well.
I need to get back into a good place b/c I feel disgusting and I am tired. Probably from eating like crap and not working out.

Anyway back on the horse I go!

Re: Struggling WWers/Dieters

I didnt have a good week at all and tomorrow is weigh in.

I woke up sunday night with a toothache that turned into a root canal on tuesday, which turned into an infection on thursday. Didnt walk at all this past week. Was snacking too much at work and ate horrible today. Ate at Sonics, Arby's and now I'm starving but out of points for the day.

Tomorrow, I need to start over, its all I can do.
Back to counting EVERY point, walking everyday, and drinking all my water. I need to be done with snacking at work.

Re: Struggling WWers/Dieters

Great idea for a thread! I've been struggling so much on the weekends. During the week I'm perfect- then the weekend comes and everything goes out the window.

2 weeks ago I was up 1.4. Surprisingly this week I was down .6. Right now my goal is to just stay where I am!!! I can't wait until all these summer BBQs are over

This is exactly me too. I've been really good during the week. Planning out everything and eating really well. Then the weekend comes and we're out and about and not making the best decisions. I'm really struggling on the weekends.

Add me to the strugglers.....I re-joined WW 6 weeks ago and only lost 3.6 lbs (and that was in one week -- every other week I was either up 0.6 or down 0.2).

I feel so down on myself that I can cry.....

do not beat yourself up -

losing 3.6 lbs overall is better than gaining 3.6 overall.

I found when I was dieting that the harder I was on myself, the harder it was.

Just focus on each meal as it comes and make the best choices you can at that time.

Re: Struggling WWers/Dieters

I started trying to lose weight on March 1st. 5 months now of eating right and exercising. I thought I would see more loss. At my lowest within these 5 months, I had lost about 11 pounds. Unfortunately, I had a few BIG weekends in a row, and now I can't shed the weight I gained. I am 1-2 pounds more than the lowest weight. I really want to shed these two pounds, so I can at least maintain the lowest, or try to lose more from that point.

How is everyone's week starting off.
For me so far so good. Not as clean as I'd like but I counted all my points and haven't gone over.
I also got to the gym and did laps for 45 minutes.
I also ate all my meals at home today which is huge. My kids and I have been eating out way too much this summer.
Need to work on my water and I need to stay connected to people so I don't slip up.
I joined an All Day/Every Day challenge on the WW board to help keep me accountable.

Have you gone to the WW boards...they have a challenge board. I joined a challenge to force myself to track b/c I'll stop tracking then blow the whole week.

Hey ladies, glad I found this thread.

I have been stuck for about a month. I hit my 5% goal but haven't lost anything else.

This week I decided to really commit. I walked 3 days in a row, 3 miles+ and have tracked everything. And I'm down only a pound since Sunday. I know it won't fall off, but every little bit is such a struggle.

Great job!! Sometimes it takes a week to catch up, hang in there.

I need to step it up with the working out again. I am tracking everything this week which is a big step for me.

Me too!Chat Icon

I was doing so well, then I basically stopped 2 months ago. I have been eating like C*ap ever since and stopped my workout routine. I am afraid to go back, bc I do not want to see how much weight I gained back.

It's been such a struggling for a long time. It's only been more difficult when my DD arrived, I need to start making the time.

Re: Struggling WWers/Dieters

I went on vacation twice in one month, was in the hospital once this month and my BIL was in the hospital once this month. Between stress-eating, and vacation over-indulgence eating, I have gained a solid 6-7 pounds that won't budge. I went from exercising 5-6 days a week 1 hour a day to NOTHING. I need to stop eating the processed junk that I started picking up again and get my butt back to the gym!!

ETA: I was great for 4-5 months solid. I had lost 12 pounds and was really getting excited about my progress. Now I feel like I am back at zero in all aspects. It's depressing.

Re: Struggling WWers/Dieters

just got back from vacation and I'm afraid to see the scale. Clothes still fit but I feel mushy.

I've already reined in the eating and I did work out on vacation.

I need to go food shopping today and get all of my fruits and veggies and lean meats a low cal/high fiber snacks.

I'm strapping my ww back on..need to go another 18 pounds or so.
