Twin Mommies..
Do you have a single stroller? How often do you use it? Do you think it is a wise investment?

Re: Twin Mommies..
A friend lent us a single snap n go and we used it twice maybe three times. My twins are 8 months now. Someone gave us a regular single stroller and we planned on getting another one, but we have not used it yet. I would get at least one, only because, what if you go out with 1 DC and leave the other at home with DH? You obviously would not want to use a double stroller.

Re: Twin Mommies..
I got 2 umbrella strollers when they turned 1. Before that i just never took just one of them out. I think it all depends on what you might plan on doing. You can always get a single later on if you think you need it!

Re: Twin Mommies..
When I was preg. someone gave me a single snap and gp and I never used it. At 2.5 yrs old I have yet to need a single stroller. That is just my opinion. I either always have them both with me or when I have 1 with me it's usually to somewhere where I dont need a stroller.

This is what we did too. In the beginning we just had the Double Snap and Go. Around 5mo, we moved them to the Citi Mini Double. At 12mo, we bought 2 umbrella strollers (mostly so Dh and I can each push one; we really don't take them out anywhere one at a time).

Same for me, started with the double snap and go, moved to citi mini double and around one (when my DD was sick and had to stay home with DH) I took DS out with me and bought a single umbrella and have now used it a few times when just taking one out to the store sometimes. I also purchased another single since sometimes we can both push a stroller. We are also going on a cruise next year and will be bringing the 2 singles instead of the double.

Re: Twin Mommies..
Yes, get one. I have a few because I have an older DC.
Last week I had to take Kylie to the eye doctor for a 2 hour appointment. I left the other 2 kids with a babysitter. This is a perfect example of when a single stroller comes in handy.
I also use a single umbrella stroller to drop off at daycare. I put one baby in the stroller and carry the other.

I registered for 2 single umbrellas. In the anticipation that it could be child A's special day with parent 1 and child B's special day with parent 2.
or something of that nature

Re: Twin Mommies..
If you get the city select, it can also be used as a single stroller.

Re: Twin Mommies..
I have single strollers from my older son. The twins are almost 2 and I've never used the single stroller for them.

Re: Twin Mommies..
i have 2 single strollers sometimes when dh and i take them out together we use them so we each have one child, they are lightweight but not quite umbrella, they are good in the zoo, aquarium etc, and my parents like to take them for walks with the singles too, if you can find a cheap one i would invest in it you never know

Re: Twin Mommies..
We held onto a couple of our single strollers from older DS. Figured definitely a good thing to have should we take one DC and not the other somewhere such has sick visit, etc.
