Regarding the upcoming GTG
Hello all:
In regards to the upcoming GTG, my wife, boosh is attending. Now, with this whole process, I am as 100% invested in it as much as she is, sometimes, perhaps more so. I gather as much info as I can with all the stuff she is going through and read these boards frequently.
All that being said, I am considering attending as well. Now, before I commit, I wanted to make sure that this would be OK with those that are attending. Since this is such a sensitive subject, I realize many women may not feel comfortable discussing details of their IF in front of a strange guy.
If anyone feels uncomfortable with me attending, plese let me know and I'll stay back. It's really not a big deal.
If it's Ok, though, I'll look forward to meeting you.

Seriously, IF affects both men and women, and I think it would be enlightening to hear a male perspective on the subject.

IMO, you can come but you will have to deal with an "uncomfortable initiation" process and sorry, but I don't think you should be let in on the secret handshake
My DH would be way too afraid to come. He's very supportive but he thinks whenever women get together we are just talking about...

No problem here.
I don't think any of us are shy. So many people have seen me in such compromising positions and I've had to discuss the most intimate things in my life with total strangers.
I don't think having a "boy" at the GTG will be an issue!

Dont take it the wrong way Don. I think its awesome your involved, shows a lot about your charecter and how great a Dad you will be some day.
But once Danny started asking about my O dates and temps, I got a little freaked out at the technicality of it all and after 21 months of sex on a schedule, had to work to get it to not be so clinical, because when he asks about, I get put off in a way and my mind starts wandering to all the technical details of the cycle and well you get my drift Im sure.

I mentioned to Chris last night if he would be interested in attending also. He absolutely would love to be there if he gets the night off of work.
When we went through our bereavement counseling last year, one of the most important things that helped us was being with others that knew how we felt and what our struggles were. He would love to become even more informed and to learn about TTC/INF that we have yet to experience - sort of knowledge is power.
So if no one minds, another boy would like to come
