Busch Gardens or Kings Dominion???

Which is better for for younger kids? My DH and I have been to Busch Gardens years ago when we were dating, lol and I know things have changed there since then and we have never been to Kings Dominion? I know KD is probably a step up from Great Adventure which I hated after going to Busch Gardens, but of course not as nice as BG. There seems to be a lot more for younger kids my boys ages at KD than BG. I thought BG would be better a little bit older? I'm asking for a friend of my DH who wants to take his family there. We live in NC so we're pretty close to both. Thanks!

I went to KD when I was younger and back the it was a step down from great Adventure, but that was 20 yrs ago. Still lots of fun and giant rollercoaster, just not as many. I think that Busch Gardens has a whole atmosphere that is fun and I think I would go there,especially with younger kids.

We LOVED Busch Gardens last year. If your kids are into Sesame Street, there is a section for kids and also character dining you can do. If you have time, we also went to Water Country USA in Wmgb, VA and really liked that too!
