MAke the chewing and biting STOP
PLEASE
What else can I buy this puppy?
She now eats the rug and Im gonna have to roll it up soon ( I tried spraying it with the bitter apple, she STILL eats it)....She chews on everything in site including my ankles and fingers.
I know shes teething, but I dont know what to give her?
she seems to get bored of her toys in a matter of minutes.

Have you tried freezing a washcloth and giving that to her when she is chewing on things?
We did this with Casey - and after a couple of weeks we found her sitting in front of the fridge, it took us a little while, but I guess she thought of it as a treat and was asking for it.
And maybe try small pieces of ice cubes.

she hates hers. Even the puppy one is too big to get her mouth on yet so she cant really chew it. Maybe when she gets bigger she will like it more.

Emmie hated toys like this too. I was so fed up with her chewing. She ruined my furniture (it was old and I was getting new anyway) and I knew it was because of the teething. I learned that she didn't like the toys because they were all too big and rough for her. So, we got her this tiny soccer ball and she loved it. she totally stopped chewing the furniture. I would say to get toys that are really soft and chewy, not hard.

IMO when you are home...you have to give her a toy or bone everytime you see her doing this
if she continues...put her in the crate for about 5 mins

We gave Peanut a beanie baby. She was only 2lbs when we got her so all of her toys were too big.
The beanie baby seemed to do the trick. Well, at least until the teething period was done. Then she started humping it LOL So we took it away permanately.

honestly...i don't think it is a good idea to give a puppy with sharp baby teeth beany babies
if she was to rip a whole in it she could eat the insides

shes really good with her chew toys, thing is if she even sees us near her, she runs to bite us instead.
We filled a soda cain with pennies, as a deterent we shake it to stop her from biting on us..., and its working, but I know she needs some kind of miracle chew toy, just yet to find it.

Donna - I swear - you are just like me when I first got Molly.
Maybe do a search under my name because lots of the girls had great advice back when I had this problem.
She really will grow out of it eventually though.

oh im going through the SAME thing i give her ice cubes and her toys it only works for so long, i just ordered the apple spray so ill see how that works, but i have started to if she bited me i say no sternly, if she does it again i say no again pick her up say no and confine her for a couple minutes....she actually seems to be getting it a lil, so if you want to give that a try!
