update with question. snap and go. please help
Twin mommies I need help.
I just learned that my infant car seats, that are now in my living room, do not fit any double snap and go. So I guess I need to return our car seats. What did you use?
So frustrated!!
Thanks
Update!! So we traded our craigs list 07 model for a newer snap and go at once upon a child in sayville.
Out graco 35's fit, but now we are really questioning the 35's. that was the first time we took just the car seat out of the house and we were both thinking we were crazy for going with the larger seat.
How long were your babies in the infant seat? should we return for the smaller/lighter seats? I was thinking that I really wanted to maximize them in the infant seats.

We have the baby trend double snap and go and use it with a Graco Safeseat and Graco snugride with no problem in any order.

IMO you NEED carseats that will fit in the double snap and go. IMO, it's a necessity!!!!! I had the Graco Snugrides and LOVED them!

Re: update with question. snap and go. please help
We have a snugride 35 (got it when I was pregnant with DS) and a safeseat.
DS was in the infant carrier until 8 months (I wanted to wait for the last ice to melt before venturing with him on my hip getting out of the house).
My girls are TINY. At 4 months J was 9lbs 4oz and K was 7lbs 12oz. I feel like at this rate they will be in the infant carriers forever LOL I would assume since it is easier to strap them into something, then go out, I will stretch the infant carriers as long as possible, minimum of 7 months.

We have the snugride 32. The babies are 7 months and about 17 lbs. We are still using infant seat but if they are awake when I get home I usually leave the seat in the car and carry them in.
I love the convenience of the snap and go but I hate the way it "drives".

Re: update with question. snap and go. please help
IMO, I'd get the most lightweight carseat possible. We switched the boys to the convertible around 8mo. My skinny kids were around 17 lbs each then. It was really heavy to lug them in and out of the house.
I switched the boys to the convertible car seats around 8mo mostly because I moved them to the regular stroller so they could sit up and look around when we were out in the stores. Once I switched the stroller, it just made sense to switch the car seats.
HTH!
