when did you feel "safe" and when did you tell it was twins?

we've told immediate family (parents and siblings) that we are pregnant but we havent told anybody that its twins. we had a big scare last week but it looks like things are okay for now. did you tell right at 12 weeks?

also, when did you start to feel safe with the idea that you were having twins? i keep thinking something is going to happen and we are going to just end up with one. im scared to even buy a twin pregnancy book!

We told our parents at 8-weeks and everyone else at 12-weeks. I felt pretty safe after the 12-week mark.

Immediaqte family at 6 weeks after our first sono we told we were pg and it was twins. Close frieds (3 people) by 7 weeks. Everyone else we told at 13 weeks. I was growing and could not hide it anymore.

Honestly, I never felt safe. I was always afraid something would happen to 1 or both of them. I felt safe when they were born and out of the NICU.

I told everyone it was twins after the 12 week sonogram. That is around the same time I started to feel more safe, but I never truly felt safe until around 28 weeks.

Our close family knew immediately. We told everyone else at 11 weeks

We wound up telling all close family around 8 weeks. At 6 weeks we told immediate family we were pregnant but then shortly after doctors felt the embryo wasn't growing and therefore the pregnancy wasn't viable.

I had a sono before a scheduled D&C and that's when we found out it was twins. We had to tell everyone since I was, after all, pregnant.

The doctors kept scaring me about things that could go wrong with the babies. Made me super nervous. Aside I knew how high the chances of delivering early were. I switched OBs at 26 weeks and my new OB really put me at ease. It was at that point I was confident our girls would be perfect no matter what.

All my close relatives knew at 6 weeks, because I hospitalized and on the maternity ward. I announced it to my friends and Facebook peeps around 19 weeks.

we told our immediate family and 3 very close friends after our first sono. Dr. B said it was safe to tell around 10 weeks. We told a few more people then. I told work around 12 weeks or so...I couldn't hide it anymore (I was puking all over the school )

We waited till 12 weeks but I always felt like something would happen. Like it was too good to be true! Every sono made me feel better!

I waited until 15w to tell everyone it was twins. I never felt fully relaxed about it until they were born though. Im sorry, this really doesnt help, Im just being honest! Most people are not as neurotic as I was!

I told everyone, I was never the keep it a secret type of gal. I didnt feel 'safe' till after 27 weeks when I knew they could survive honestly.
