is this feasible?
My 4 yo has expressed interest in tennis. His hand eye coordination is very good. We bought him a racket and DH volleys with him.
I tried to get him into a class this summer, but I was too late and the afternoon slot filled...and morning interfered with camp.
In the fall they have a class @ 330. He has UPK until 330. I don't mind picking him up early (I will be on maternity leave).
Of course, now my 6 yo wants to go as well. His school ends at 330 too, but his class would be @ 4. But I would have to get there for #2s 330 class.
Do I pick my 6 yo up early from school one day a week? His school is in between upk and tennis My mom offered to take him to an activity if i need. Should I have her pick him up and meet me at tennis? I feel like its redundant. Should I just have the 6 yo not do tennis (he already has other activities)
I go back to work in december and won't be able to do things like this for them. Kwim? So im feeling son mom guilt.

Re: is this feasible?
I wouldn't take my older son out of school early. Pre K yes but not "big boy" school. If your mom doesn't mind picking him up and dropping him off at tennis - I'd just do that. If it is easy enough for her and she doesn't mind. And if something comes up with your mom - then in that take him out early in those "emergency situations". Now you reminded me - I'd love to find tennis for Kevin for the fall....he loves tennis and is getting pretty good at it. Just not sure if it fits in with everything else already on schedule.
