Timing of Interview Question
I applied for a job a few months ago and last week they called to set up an interview. The interview date is almost a month away. Isnt that odd?

What kind of comapny is it? Some places are crazy at the beginning of Sept. so maybe they need to make sure things are calm before doing interviews?

It is at a college so yes it could be that they are busy in the beginning of September. Thanks for the input.

From what I know of people who have worked at colleges, they tend to be big bureacracies, so yes, that seems pretty typical when it comes to interviewing.
