So angry with uniform company!
We went 3 weeks ago to get Megan's uniform. She wears the gym uniform this year in K but for the warmer months..wears twill shorts with the polo. I got everything except the shorts. They told me they would be in in about 10 days. Ok fast forward to now and they are telling me they are on backorder for 6 WEEKS! She needs them to start on the first day of school next week!! I already paid for them!
Does anyone know where I can get them? My school says it HAS TO BE from Flynn and O'Hara..but at this point, I just need grey girls twill shorts. Anyone have any ideas?

Noreen, Flynn & O'Hara is probably not too far from you. They have a store in Glendale in Atlas Park.
ETA: Oh, wait I get it...you went there already.
Ugh...sorry, let me see if I can find some info for you. That's the co. we use for uniforms...

Yes, thats where I went. Got everything that day except for those shorts. They told me 10 days. Now they are telling me 4 to 6 weeks. Really??? Thats her uniform for the beginning of the year. I am really annoyed. Thank you SO MUCH!

I would say call the one in Parsippany, but they are probably flooded out. Try Co-Ed uniform company. Their grey shorts look exactly the same.

Also, does your school do any type of uniform exchange? People put their outgrown uniforms in a closet/drawer or whatever that you can either buy at reduced cost or get for free? Our school does that. Call the school and ask!
Do you know anyone else with a kid going to school there? Maybe you can buy a pair off them for the interim?

You can try Cookie's Kids or french toast or even LL Bean or Land's End. Even the uniform company you are supposed to use has several different brands for each item (shorts, pants, etc) and your school will not know the difference. Just make sure the color is similar (light grey or charcoal grey?) and they are pleated or not, depending upon the uniform required.
I get my DS's uniform shirts and pants from Cookies and haven't had any problems. They don't carry the shorts color we need or I'd get those there too.

Our uniforms are from Lands End - I don't know where you live but I'm sure Lobel's carries what you need.

Noreen, did you get what you needed yet? There's a Flynn and O'Hara store on Merrick Road in Seaford, and I could take a trip there or give a quick call to see if they have it in stock for you...
any luck with cookieskids.com ?
